A poem by Beverly Stock.
The harmonic law of nature,
Essence of all sensation and
Sensorium of eyes and ears,
At long last, are but one.
The rhythm of rhyme and cadence,
Coalesce with Seven Harmonies and melodies,
Combined in the poet’s repository,
As a physiological affinity,
between visuals and sound.
Praise laws that apply to works
Of optic and aural beauty,
As they resonate in idiosyncratic aesthetics.
