Is It Done?

Is it done? Have all vacations ended?

The sun begins to set, and yet,

How can we all go and forget?

Ah, no! We all will fitfully sleep.

With pain and grief in our hearts,

As the goldfish leave in darkness and weep,

Alone to find the ocean, I depart.
